Just 5 players fronted up for the challenge of beating the cricket club at their own game. As such the cricket club were kind enough to let each of us bat twice.

That turned out to be to their detriment as Varun and Podge put on an opening partnership of 57. But after the wickets fell, big V walked back out and smashed 66 without falling to heft the total to 152. Added to his 21 in the first stint he had a good day.

The cricket club made a statement in the opening over of their batting innings smashing yours truly for 23! Things steadied out from there and gradually each of the five of us picked up a wicket, including a caught and bowled from the Wiesel! Pick of the bowlers was the Shelldog with figures of 3/38! The game was won with a runout in the last over.
